personalised skincare and lifestyle guidance;
general wellness recommendations;
written recommendations and PDF wellness plans;
follow-up communications.
All consultations are provided remotely via telephone or video call.
Consultations are generally one-to-one and typically last approximately 30–45 minutes, although this may vary.
We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.

4. Eligibility
By using our services, you confirm that:
you are at least 18 years old;
you are resident within the United Kingdom;
you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract;
you are purchasing services for personal, non-commercial use only;

We do not knowingly provide services to individuals under 18 years of age.

The testing kits used within our services are supplied and processed by independent third-party providers and laboratories.
These third-party providers are solely responsible for:
laboratory processing;
sample analysis;
generation of reports;
laboratory procedures;
testing methodologies;
sample handling;
sample destruction;
laboratory compliance.
Genetic Beauty Lab does not:
perform laboratory testing;
process biological samples;

validate laboratory accuracy.
We are not responsible for:
laboratory errors;
delays;
incomplete results;
invalid samples;
inaccuracies;
third-party technical failures.
By purchasing our services, you acknowledge that:

6. Orders & Payment
All prices displayed on our website are in GBP (£).
Full payment is required at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.
Payment methods available at checkout may vary from time to time.
We reserve the right to:
refuse any order;
cancel services;
amend pricing;
withdraw services;
correct pricing errors.
Pricing changes will not affect confirmed purchases already accepted by us.

7. Test Kit Delivery & Sample Submission
It is your responsibility to:
provide accurate delivery information;
carefully follow all testing instructions;
submit samples correctly;
ensure samples are returned promptly;
ensure dried blood spot samples are fully dried before posting where applicable.
We are not responsible for:
postal delays;
lost returns;
courier failures;
incorrectly collected samples;
contaminated samples;
insufficient samples;
invalid test results caused by incorrect use.
No refund will be issued where:
a sample is submitted incorrectly;
the sample becomes invalid due to user error;
the test kit is unused;
the sample is not returned.
Laboratory turnaround times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

8. Consultations
Consultations are educational wellness consultations only.
Consultations may include discussions relating to:
skincare routines;
lifestyle habits;
hydration;
sleep;
stress management;
wellness optimisation;
general wellbeing.
Consultations do not include:
diagnosis;
medical assessment;
treatment;
prescribing;
clinical monitoring;
therapy;
regulated healthcare services.
We may decline to discuss topics which we reasonably believe fall outside the permitted scope of our wellness services.
If we believe you require medical support, we may advise you to seek assistance from your GP or another healthcare professional.
Consultations are not recorded.
You are responsible for ensuring you attend consultations in a suitable private environment.

9. Skincare, Lifestyle & Wellness Recommendations
Any skincare, wellness, or lifestyle recommendations are general educational guidance only.

10. Hormone & Allergy Testing Disclaimer
Any hormone-related or allergy-related testing offered through our services is provided strictly for informational and wellness purposes only.
Such testing is not intended to:
diagnose medical conditions;
assess disease;
replace NHS or private medical care;
identify clinical allergies;
guide medical treatment;
replace professional allergy testing.
You must not make healthcare decisions based solely on these results.

11. Cancellation & Refunds
Please also refer to our separate Refund & Returns Policy.
Once a testing kit has been dispatched or ordered on your behalf, the testing element of the purchase becomes non-refundable due to hygiene, safety, and personalised product considerations.
Unused kits are non-refundable.
Consultation appointments may be rescheduled where reasonable notice is provided.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds where:
services have already commenced;
testing has been processed;
samples have been submitted;
user error has caused invalid results;
these Terms have been breached.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Genetic Beauty Lab shall not be liable for:
indirect loss;
consequential loss;
loss of opportunity;
emotional distress;
business losses;
reputational loss;
dissatisfaction with outcomes;
health outcomes;
skincare reactions;
reliance on third-party laboratory results.
Our total liability in relation to any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability which cannot legally be excluded under English law.

13. Data Protection & Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable UK data protection laws.
Certain information processed by us may constitute special category personal data.
We aim to minimise the amount of personal and wellness-related information retained wherever reasonably possible.
Consultation notes may be securely retained for up to 12 months for service quality, continuity, and legal purposes.
We do not permanently retain copies of third-party laboratory reports unless reasonably required for operational or legal reasons.
By using our services, you consent to communication via electronic methods including email.
Electronic communications carry inherent security risks, and you acknowledge and accept these risks.

14. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, documents, materials, graphics, written recommendations, consultation materials, and intellectual property associated with Genetic Beauty Lab remain our property.
