IMPORTANT: Please read these Consultation Terms carefully before booking, attending, or participating in any consultation provided by Genetic Beauty Lab.
By booking, attending, accessing, or participating in any consultation with Genetic Beauty Lab, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined below.
In this document, references to “Genetic Beauty Lab”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to Genetic Beauty Lab, a trading name of Biovance Group Ltd.
1. Nature of Consultations
Genetic Beauty Lab consultations are wellness, skincare, and lifestyle consultations only.
Consultations are intended solely for:
educational purposes;
general wellness guidance;
skincare discussions;
lifestyle recommendations;
informational support.
Consultations are not:
medical appointments;
healthcare services;
clinical assessments;
therapy sessions;
diagnostic consultations.
Nothing discussed during a consultation constitutes:
medical advice;
diagnosis;
treatment;
prescribing;
medical monitoring;
healthcare management.
No doctor-patient, clinician-patient, or regulated healthcare relationship is created through participation in our consultations.
2. Consultation Scope
Consultations may include discussions relating to:
skincare routines;
wellness habits;
hydration;
sleep;
stress management;
general wellbeing;
wellness testing reports;
lifestyle considerations.
Consultations may also include general educational discussion of:
DNA Skin & Beauty reports;
Biological Age & Longevity reports;
hormone-related wellness reports;
allergy-related wellness reports.
Genetic Beauty Lab does not clinically interpret test results or diagnose medical conditions.
Any information discussed is general and informational only.
If concerns regarding your health arise during a consultation, you may be advised to seek independent medical advice from a GP or other qualified healthcare professional.
3. Remote Consultations
Consultations are conducted remotely by telephone or video call.
Consultation duration may vary depending on the nature of the service.
You are responsible for:
attending consultations at the scheduled time;
ensuring a suitable internet or phone connection where applicable;
attending from an appropriate private environment;
providing accurate information where relevant.
We are not responsible for delays or interruptions caused by:
internet issues;
connection failures;
technical issues;
third-party platform outages.
4. Consultation Conduct
Clients are expected to engage respectfully and appropriately during consultations.
Genetic Beauty Lab reserves the right to refuse, suspend, shorten, or terminate a consultation where:
inappropriate behaviour occurs;
abusive or threatening conduct occurs;
requests fall outside the wellness scope of the service;
consultations are being misused;
continuing the consultation may create legal, professional, or safety concerns.
No refund will necessarily be provided where a consultation is terminated due to inappropriate conduct.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Where possible, we ask clients to provide reasonable notice if they are unable to attend a consultation.
Consultations cancelled with insufficient notice or missed without notice may be forfeited.
Genetic Beauty Lab reserves the right to:
reschedule consultations;
refuse repeat late cancellations;
decline refunds where services have already been reserved or allocated.
Where we need to reschedule a consultation, we will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative appointment.

6. Confidentiality & Privacy
Information shared during consultations will be treated confidentially in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection laws.
Consultation notes may be retained securely for operational, continuity, quality assurance, or legal purposes.
Genetic Beauty Lab does not permanently retain copies of third-party laboratory reports unless reasonably necessary.
Information may be disclosed where:
legally required;
necessary to protect safety;
required for legitimate operational purposes.

7. Recording Policy
Consultations are not routinely recorded.
Clients must not record consultations without prior permission from Genetic Beauty Lab.
Genetic Beauty Lab reserves the right to refuse permission for recordings at its sole discretion.
Unauthorised recording, reproduction, or distribution of consultation content may result in termination of services.
8. Skincare & Wellness Recommendations
Any skincare, wellness, or lifestyle recommendations provided during consultations are:
general;
educational;
informational;
non-prescriptive.
Recommendations should not be interpreted as medical or clinical advice.
You remain solely responsible for:
reviewing ingredients;
identifying allergies or sensitivities;
patch testing products where appropriate;
determining product suitability;
obtaining medical advice where necessary.
Genetic Beauty Lab does not guarantee:
skincare outcomes;
anti-ageing results;
wellness improvements;
compatibility with products.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Genetic Beauty Lab shall not be liable for:
indirect loss;
consequential loss;
dissatisfaction with outcomes;
skincare reactions;
reliance on wellness information;
adverse reactions to products;
outcomes relating to third-party testing.
Any actions taken based upon consultation discussions or recommendations are undertaken entirely at your own discretion and risk.
Our total liability relating to consultations shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant consultation or service.
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under English law.
10. No Medical Reliance
You must not rely solely upon information provided during consultations when making medical, healthcare, or treatment decisions.
If you have concerns regarding:
your health;
skin conditions;
hormones;
allergies;
medications;
symptoms;
wellbeing;
medical treatment;
you should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
In a medical emergency, contact 999 immediately.
11. Intellectual Property
All consultation materials, wellness plans, recommendations, documents, and educational materials provided by Genetic Beauty Lab remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
Materials must not be copied, distributed, reproduced, or commercially used without prior written permission.
12. Governing Law
These Consultation Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

13. Acceptance of These Terms
